Lightroom imports images with strange settings

hi people,

 

i'm not new lr @ all. in fact, teach lr , raw image workflow.

but issue struck me cold no answers.

 

i took photos d800 , whibal (wb card).

to surprise, images turned out yellow when imported them lr. have no colour settings ever import process. photographer, own colour process per image , not during import session.

 

when select image after import, see applied contrast, hsl, vibrance , not, applied images.

 

why happen , can disbale it? it's in settings.

 

i use lr 4.4 , latest raw engine.

this happens 2 reasons…

 

a) selected develop preset right in import window, sounds if you've ruled out.

 

b) have inadvertently changed develop defaults holding down option key , pressing set default in develop module (bottom). if current image has had develop settings become new defaults. can undo alt-pressing set default again , reverting adobe defaults.

 

(i don't think grey card has it. images import should show these unwanted develop settings.)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
