New CF10 install not finding pages when including template in URL.

just installed developer edition of cf10. on new windows 2008 server.

registrar pointing correct server; working ok. sort of.

when type in browser @ office (no near data center), domain resolves fine , home.cfm page display should.

cf picking iis default document home.cfm.

the menu , other hyperlinks appear , when click on them 404. files there.

when type in url www10.mydomain.com home page comes up.

when type in www10.mydomain.com/home.cfm fails.

which tells me iis correctly going right path , displaying right file. in debugging screen see whole bunch of other files have been included.

also when enable directory browsing in iis not listing screen ... nice see iis thinks is.

why inclusion of actual template send iis tizzy?

i restarted cf, iis no avail.

there's got in iis panel misconfigured. compared production servers in same rack - see no difference.

default web site pointing same fodler in case it's ip oddity.

realise developer edition , limited 2 ip addresses.

and no, url not mydomain!

is clue ... when go browse form within iis on server more detailed screen am.

www10.mydomain.com/jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll. huh?

clearly didn't install properly. seem have had issues installing every version of cf in past , came down gibberish in web server configuration tool?

problem sorted uninstalling , reinstalling cf.
