Photoshop and Bridge freezing

i started using creative suite few months ago. owned photoshop , illustrator, needed new flash , dw apps.

since mac powerbook late 2008, thought crashing older computer. never happened before.

now purchased new powerbook , after 2 days , reinstalling software, programs keep frezzing.

 

what can do? shall go old software? how unintalling software?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
