RF confuses me as a web designer

it meant visually layout web pages multiple devices using css , html, can't output layouts html or css , code create can viewed correctly in chrome of people come websites develop using ie or firefox, use chrome not many ie or ff.

 

i visual layout aspect of creating css , doing media queries can't wrap head around usefulness of tool me if can't export or have code creates work in browsers outside of chrome.

 

i understand logic behind software , targeting for.  make things lot easier if instead of wrapping proprietary format output straight html , css assetts.  solve issue between designers , developers take files , import them other software adobes or 3rd parties , make easy work end result.

 

i have been using muse simple work output creates 3 seperate versions of site rf uses media queiries , have 1 site , no duplication or little of assetts.

 

though said, rf confuses me because looks nice , can neat things except use designs create don't work in outside of chrome. 

i waiting on full version non preview release because use time if can have designs work on full web, of nice eye candy don't see real use other maybe pr build creative cloud.  

 

if there actual way use software let me know because confuses me right now.  can't export designs , can't put them on web because don't work except in chrome.  don't see use software practical web design use.  teach me how if possible, please.

i've been looking @ rf learning more responsive design i've had on list while.

 

as far can tell, rf, once preview project in chrome, generates html , css files in projects assets folder.

 

so assume workflow is:

 

1. mockup of layout in rf, creating rough layouts difference sizes / devices.

 

2. preview in chrome.

 

3. when you're happy it, pick html , css gets generated bare bones layout in dreamweaver , go there.

 

i've pretty used dw years, , have thought little confusing on last few years adobe releasing quite lot of lower key programs , services, not helped them changing names along way.

 

but impression starting come edge stuff, , optional tools support dw, out specific task. in case of rf, getting initial responsive layout sketched out.
