Screen dims when slides change

i'm using captivate 6 , when screen changes (user clicks continue) screen dims.  screen dims few seconds, becomes white again.  there no transitions used in project.  it's simple project images (screen shots) text , smart shapes. thank help.

make sure captivate version 6.0.1.240 or 6.1.0.319 (help > adobe captivate).

 

please try this:

go edit > preferences > swf size , quality > make custom , uncheck advanced file compression, uncheck compress swf file.

 

then click on slide in filmstrip , in properties of slide change quality optimized or 24 bit, every slide.

 

then publish project , check 'force republish slides' @ time of publishing.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
