Thread: Gmail login problem in Ubuntu 11.10

hi

have big problem have installed ubuntu 11.10 father-in-law unable log gmail through browser. have tried chromium not work.

when using internet explorer on windows installed on virtualbox works perfectly. weird thing has been working 3 weeks , stopped working. hangs on waiting accounts.google.com after entering usernam , password.

did search in forums , people suggest changing network mtu, did problem persists. have no idea how fix this. appreciated.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
