Thread: terminal - nano incomplete fstab

good day. have partitions setup , aligned, cannot edit /etc/fstab it's incomplete in nano. tring auto mount partitions. have been following ubuntu guides no avail. advice. checked if posted nothing.

are sure it's nano , not fstab file itself? doesn't sound right nano isn't loading entire fstab file unless it's corrupt. trying edit root: sudo nano /etc/fstab

have tried "cat /etc/fstab" compare results nano shows entire file?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
