Trouble Downloading Lightroom 3.6 on my Mac

can please me this?

in past purchased software online, have receipt in email serial number software etc.  had downloaded windows version on our dell laptop, , remember running issue not open lightroom right away, , kept asking me id number or whatever.  drove me crazy didn't have time play around quit trying together.  laptop screen broken no longer use it.  have since purchased brand new imac , remember having option download mac version windows version so...today got online , downloaded lightroom 3.6 history, on desktop when try open window shows pkg file & pdf file.  if click on pkg file, asks installed.  still learning how around mac driving me crazy.  help!  oh , possible download lightroom windows pc laptop won't used or have lost download?

one serial number allows install product on 2 machines, can download on new windows machine , use same serial key activate ...
