"Update All" Document Library Symbols as Command Script

hi!, trying automate update of document library (multiple symbols) master document multiple files across uses symbols master fireworks file. (fireworks cs5, osx)

 

i able create batch command history when (select symbol > menu > update...), history doesnt record when select symbols (because i'm selecting them manually shift+click), records update command, whenever use command on file want update updates last symbol in list of library.

 

i've been searching haven't found work arounds this, adobe guide

suggests that:

"note: to update imported symbols, select symbols in document library panel , select update."

however can't batch if have select symbols manually. there shortcut can use select symbols in document library? or short cut shift+arrow down select multiple symbols?

 

i have tried using john dunning's fireworks extension "updatesymbols" (amazing work)

however have had same results, updates last symbol of library, plus changes not reflected on view unless go symbol , out again.

 

i guess main question if knows way select (or multiple select - navigate arrow down/up + shift) items in fireworks list (i.e. document library)
