Cannot open any pdf or delete or update old adobe reader

i having same issues many others.  adobe has been corrupted or hacked.  days of already.  cannot open pdf files or other downloads.  errors of sorts come when trying update or delete , re-download.  why can't fix issue already??  work needs done, many time sensitive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank reaching out assistance problem on adobe forum.  have looked @ link http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html posted in announcements people having issues adobe reader's core dll not loading because of malware?  if running on windows system, might correct place start.

 

if above not solve problem, please indicate os running , version of adobe reader (9, x, xi)?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
