CS6 photoshop type tool maximally buggy

greetings all,

i have new system - mini, wacom intuos3 (old wacom set up) - date font suitcase (fusion? can't recall exact name - i'm @ home now!)

 

i have upgraded cs3 cs6, apparently no-no. because: when open cs3 file , work on in cs6, save it, , reopen again later, type layers inoperable. clicking in type area edit changes type on former cs3 file. example, if typed "boy" in univers in cs3, , in cs6, selected , retyped boyhood in times, clicking in text area of boyhood mysteriously brings old "boy" type in univers. if unclick, reverts boy , won't budge. stay boyhood.

 

if try move text 1 doc another, comes in different words , style , size in other doc. it's utterly impossible.

 

i have updated photshop in last 10 days.

 

elsewhere i've read wacom may issue. updated today too. no change.

 

any clues me madness?

i doubt tablet has type of behavior.

 

not able recreate issue either.

 

probably want recreate preferences both versions of photoshop , try again.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
