Existing Captivate 6 project gives error: "file already open." on multiple machines

i have existing cap 6 project tried opening today received error file open.  tried rebooting , clearing captivate cache, without luck.  sent project computer , received same error.  please help, not have enough time start project on scratch.

do know on pc file created? maybe you'll find 'lock' files on there, try delete them.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
