Flash for steam

im running windows 8 , have version 11.7.700179 installed. flash works websites try except program steam. when follow steam's link dl flash other browsers dont see option windows 8. have link correct version need? thx

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
