Flash player will not enable. How do I fix the problem?

i have downloaded , installed adobe flash player several times. problem when go internet options manage add-ons, shockwave flash object disabled. when click or right click shockwave flash object, option enable cannot clicked. it's not button pretty much. don't know how explain it. cannot click enable button. there anyway can fix this? im running windows 7 ie10. date. graphics card, etc.

let's start first doing clean install of flash player, if still occurs let's see if can try fixing permissions.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
