Linking files between Macs and PCs in InDesign

i'm mac, colleagues pc.

 

they have removed letter mapping server links enable me , them share indesign files seemlessly. works until indesign file draws graphics 2 (or more) seperate servers. in case, indesign me can draw links server in file saved. graphics other server appear broken.

 

i'm sure pcs , macs co-existing isn't rare. , i'm sure using graphics multiple servers isn't rare. how around problem?

that sounds server/permissions issue more else.
