Mac: R26 Adobe Content Viewer Installation Silently Fails

i'm installing dps desktop tools 26.0.0 , adobe content viewer silently failing.  in installation log:

the more disturbing thing installer claims installation succeeded, though acv installation failed.  can install acv hand (by running "install adobe content viewer.app").  this occurring inside vmware fusion vm mac os x 10.8.2 (i'm using vm because have build distribution product of installing air-based dps desktop tools installer.  has not been issue previous revisions of dps desktop tools).

we see happen occasionally, chasing down root cause difficult. manual re-install our suggested workaround @ moment.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
