Thread: Disallow login before mounts


hi

got nas encrypted mount points on. these not mount automatically during reboot(for example power loss) because need password entered before decrypting.
want, don't want automatic decrypting

problem have have backup point mounted /srv/backup , have automatic rsync script pushing backups ssh.

if server unexpected restarts mount point /srv/backup empty rsync performe full backup , fill wrong disk.
there way me disallow users login if mountpoint not mounted?

why not add check (or wrapper) backup script check /srv/backup mounted before kicking off rsync?
