Thread: Does anyone know how to create an "image" of a floppy disk in Linux?

hi,

know how create image file of floppy disk in linux?
have floppy disk (and floppy drive) , create image file of diskette onto hard drive. there several programs in windows can it, can't figure out in linux. think called "raw" image , think needs in ".img" format.

thing have come "dd", don't understand it. came across dosemu, couldn't figure out how way either.

can hep me?

try man mkdosfs
