hi. need please because begin university. have tried install lexmark x2670 own, haven´t been able it. have tried driver downloaded lexmark.com doesn´t work. please need printer working.

answer grateful.

can provide following info:
- brand/model/type of desktop/laptop?
- how printer connected?
- error messages?

this:
- turn printer on
- open terminal , type command: lsusb
- copy/paste output of above command here

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
