Thread: PPTP VPN and freeRADIUS Issues

hi all,

i've got bit of problem. i've got ubuntu server box running pptp server , freeradius server (amongst others). manage though webmin , daloradius. vpn server has been running fine until tried set use radius authentication method.

client sends request , radius server receives , correctly appears send accept packet generating following console message when start in debug mode
code:
sending access-accept of id 14 127.0.0.1 port 55455          framed-protocol = ppp          framed-compression = van-jacobson-tcp-ip          ms-chap2-success = 0x19533d33373536304342303146414139453732443335414230334130423836343839413543334438393243          ms-mppe-recv-key = 0x6891147622a7e1d31938d5bd260568e7          ms-mppe-send-key = 0xa525c25cfd24a983441e57fcc2d8d600          ms-mppe-encryption-policy = 0x00000002          ms-mppe-encryption-types = 0x00000004  finished request 4.
however, appears vpn server doesn't message vpn client receives 'vpn authentication failed' message.

can suggest why might not working. i'll provide more info/configs if asked.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
