hello,

quite new ubuntu , learning things.

couple of days ago there error in automatic update process run ubuntu software center.
red circle icon appears on taskbar , software center not opening.
error got when ran "apt-get update" command "e: malformed line 61 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist parse)
e: list of sources not read."

running ubuntu 11.10.

please help.

the error message says it, there wrong in /etc/apt/source.list file @ line 61. open file , correct problem or post file here.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
