Thread: Tweaks regarding Teamviewer 6

i have couple of small issues have arisen during use of teamviewer in 11.10. these nothing major, still annoying none-the-less.

if open teamviewer6 terminal, opens teamviewer , wine in side bar (if term it). on other hand, if open teamviewer clicking on app icon (either searching in dash home or browsing folder icon in) opens teamviewer icon on sidebar. i'd able set teamviewer startup application, prevent wine icon popping in sidebar well.

also, have been trying see if there way prevent teamviewer opening webpage (asking me sign teamviewer newsletter) whenever close it.

i've said, these aren't incredibly important, find way fix them if possible.

i believe fact responsible have fact ubuntu no longer uses gnome interface. did right? sorry if didn't. uses type of interface now, , uses grub 2 master boot record, or maybe not master boot record partition loader select menu.

sorry i'm rusty. anyway interface has nothing end kernel loading files. have heard , down ubuntu wrong take bars, menu bars, etc. newer distros. use linux mint, , enjoy interface, , believe kernel root files same.

if works better terminal, open terminal instead of gui

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
