3D object jumping to another place after re-opening the file when changing 3D properties

hi !

every time re-open file containing 3d object placed in document, if minor change (texture, color or position) 3d object jump imported place in document , lost position , direction placed it...

any advice ? ps cs6

sounds it's 3ds object camera. in case should delete interanl camera , create new custom view...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
