Green screen Help

i got clip shutterstock of stage curtain opening on green screen. downloaded .mov file 1920x1080i. pal changed frame rate 29.97 progressive in ame converted h264. want composite show filmed, having tough time jagged edges can't rid of. not realistic @ all. not little bit.greenscreen.jpggreenscreen 2.jpg

first of all, need change color of curtain dark blue. can see in effect settings. set similarity 75%, still have problems. 100% distort curtain color. not sure how proceed. should change curtain color first, , key out green? of sliders rid of jadded edge? should have converted original file if 25 fps , project ntsc?

i added antialias filter, not sure anything.

should try in after effects?

dont convert file compressed  di , see if better key .

 

do key work in separate sequence nest edit sequence maybe.

 

work key fx tweaks.

 

do key before thinking changing color blue.(which might challenging)

 

i in aefx anyway

 

 

darn adobe forum jive rubbish --- why enter key broken...sheesh!  ...and no smileys ( in case..."angrys")

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
