I'm confused - does it still make sense to upgrade to CS6 now?

hi,

i wanted switch mac windows in near future , therefore upgrade cs5 cs6 (because apparantly it's not possible switch cs5 license os).

cloud version no-go me, 1 reason because don't monthly fees, want buy things , own them.

now, cc versions announced , discontinuation of creative suite, not sure makes sense upgrade cs6 anymore? invest in more or less dead product?

sorry if stupid question, i'm confused this.

ok. nevermind. decided buy new mac , continue using cs5 long possible while looking alternative software.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
