Is there a way I can decrease the size of my PDF's?

i work in mortgage industry , send out loan applications can reach on 100 pages.  there way compress these files can sent through emails (business emails tend have size limit) , can upload them quicker when completed?

not adobe reader.

 

how creating these pdf's? if using acrobat, you'll want ask in forum. there many variables making pdf's smaller they'll guide through that.

 

if using else, you'll want find support channel software.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
