LR message "Some of these images have been uploaded through other collections already..."

in lightroom, have multiple revel libraries , multiple collections in each library.  photos may in multiple collections across libraries.

several times when go publish collection, message

lr revel message.jpg

the first time or 2 clicked skip later i've been clicking replace.   think clicking replace because seemed upload didn't work or didn't upload photo on server.   expect in end photo in lr in multiple collections in revel appear in each collection.

did see image show correctly in library? if replacing should not @ duplicate think.

revel filters out duplicates based on file byte comparisons (aka. hashing or checksumming). revel not filter images edited copies of originals.

revel doesn't @ file names when determining whether images duplicates, considers binary contents of files. if file contents same, revel flags them duplicates regardless of filename , other properties.

when there 2 photos same pixel data--but 1 has metadata added, or of different file format, images not considered being duplicates.

albums should transfer, though organizational structure flatten (revel doesn't current supported nested albums, aka subfolders)

i see if image uploaded or not library. uploading shared libraries?

thanks

scott
