Modified Captivate 6 File saves as a 30 meg plus .cptx yet exports to a high resolution 2 meg mp4

i have been creating captivate 6 file deleting unwanted resources in library , saving new .cptx. works can select resouces want called master .cptx , select , delete unused items. save new stripped down .cptx, publish mp4 , great. problem in every case .cptx file saves 30 meg + file when cannot big. export mp4 , 2 megs, save .cptx , 30 meg, yet in library resources deleted? have idea why backing looks old deleted data , how remove it? have done more research on , far can see "growing cptx files" has been on forum before , indentified captivate bug , design floor meant fixed update in 2011. case adobe have not fixed problem? - cannot find anywhere has been resolved.

can please confirm objects have in library, everything, including graphics , ppts or video or recording? size of project in proportion sum of objects in project.

 

while when publish it, captivate take account settings projects preferences section (publish settings & swf size , quality dialogs) if keep high size of mp4 might vary on low might reduce further down.

 

to verify if because of library content:

 

• create new blank project
• save , check size.
• now import library of other project (30mb+) and not add content or slide it.
• save again , check size.

 

this should give more idea reason fo of size.
