Thread: alsamixer settings not saved on restart or shutdown

howdy folks,

i've installed 10.04 on several computers , never had problem alsamixer before. tried sudo alsactl store , still not save settings. no audio until reset alsamixer. ideas ?

i seem @ impasse on this. i've read several threads, haven't found resembles solution of yet.

there out there maybe me figure 1 out ?
