Thread: computer frozen with msg "PM: Not enough free swap" - do i reset?
hi everyone,
dont know here. great. looked have not found specific solution situation.
had stuff open, hibernated, not enough swap , system hanging black screen , 1 line "pm: not enough free swap".
should restart? hard disk light flashes every few seconds, dont know whats going on?
there anyway out of , go os? dont want cold reset!
thanks!
if cant out of must hard reset...
suspicion swap filled , hibernation dumps current running things in ram swap...so caused crash.
avoid should either keep eye on system monitor how full swap or...
increase size of swap (partly impossible without messing partitions)
