Thread: Dual-Booting with Windows Vista and Ubuntu

i have windows vista , ubuntu 11.04 dual-booting. bad thing when boot computer starts 'windows boot managaer' , defaults windows vista. there anyway can make default ubuntu, or better, start in grub instead of windows boot manager.

did install proper dual boot or wubi inside windows?

proper dual boot install grub2 on mbr unless told otherwise during install. default grub2 on mbr.

if still have windows bootloader either have wubi, or told grub2 install on partition, not mbr.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
