Thread: dvgrab Error no camera exists

hi,
running kubuntu 11.10. have been using dvgrab/kdenlive capture video dv camcorder. using firewire port on motherboard connect dv camcorder. have managed capture video when ever run dvgrab error message "error: no camera exists"
not sure has changed since working fine couple of days ago.....
please note have used 11.10 version capture far.
here of output looks normal me firewire stack view:
dmesg | grep firewire

not sure how troubleshoot issue , why dvgrab cannot connect camera anymore....any ideas please...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
