Thread: Easy (or hard) way to change the greeter?

i checked , don't see listed asking. still little new, don't have problems changing settings.

change lubuntu greeter that:
1) don't have type user name if don't want (not auto login see #2)

2) can allow "guest" account added/activated, extended family can browse web or whatever while visit

, 3) change font color white (i able change background image, new 1 dark , makes reading "password" hard)

help...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
