Thread: FATAL: Module nvidia not found.

i trying install new video card (nvidia geforce gt 520). kept getting message drivers installed not activated. seemed working except nvidia control panel wouln't recognize fact. purged nvidia drivers system , started over. drivers install cant found. on boot fatal: module nvidia not found', , no video driver loaded. driver utility still says nvidia-current driver " activated not in use" isn't in use , stuck in low res. how driver found *and* activated?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
