Thread: Importing DVD content to Ubuntu, using PiTiV and/or Braseroi
hello all,
current platform ubuntu 10.04. , still have lot learn regard that.
how import dvd content ubuntu, instance.
in case, wish transfer ca 3 hours of vhs footage, captured on (recordable) dvd+rw, video file format and, ultimately, external disk. yet i'm uncertain best way go.
i'm not sure if pitivi – i'll need – allow dvd content lifted directly cd-rom. great if does, of course.
regarding this, i'm thinking of involving brasero – sort of preparatory device, were.
rather copying , duplicating in usual fashion, general idea copy dvd, save contents suitable file – ie prior to launching file in pitivi (with future editing in mind). problem is, however, don't know if brasero equiped this.
there 1 out there able advice me? much.
