Thread: just installed & not picking up wireless signals

just installed 11.10 not picking wireless networks. did when running alongside windows,just went live , nothing. had manually input network , says connects still cant access internet. after running command lshw warning: output may incomplete or inaccurate,you should run program super-user...dont know if has problem ,also configuration:driver=k8temp

it if post output of lshw or otherwise provide hardware specs.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
