Thread: Logging in under 'Ubuntu' setting doesn't work.

hey guys,

watching movie on laptop, , randomly logged me out. now, when try log in under 'ubuntu' setting, blank screen. so, enter 'alt+f2' , type "unity --replace". after loads. but, sets settings when first log in. of launcher apps gone, , replaced ones when first install ubuntu, startup apps gone well, , compizconfig reset it's original settings. but, when log 'ubuntu-2d' setting, way it's supposed be. how fix 'ubuntu' setting? great!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
