hello,

getting these error message when trying access simple script

not connect database...lost connection mysql server @ 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111

the error message telling problem script can't connect database. either provided wrong username/password, haven't setup mysql allow host, or if you're making query different machine, comment out bind_address in /etc/mysql/my.cnf file. have tried connect same credentials mysqlclient?

mysql -u <user> -p -h <ip_address_of_mysql_host>

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
