Thread: NAS not unmount in shutdown - shutdown blocked

i have problem laptop. running wlan , there boot mounting nfs nas bit of theater managed fix scripting checks availability of net , nas , mounts - did on cron.

however, main problem unmounting nas. if not before shutdown machine hangs @ "killing remaining processes" or - can shutdown pressing powerbutton long enough. have tried inserting similar script on rc6.d no avail , gradually running out of tricks.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
