Thread: need help with dual boot

i want make dual boot system alongside windows xp.

have 2 partitions

c: 74gb (where windows installed) and
d: 200gb (is larger partition media download)

have 25gb of free unallocated space want use installing ubuntu in.

have attached image of hard drive partitions.

i seem recall in installer can choose partition ubuntu installed into.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
