Thread: php5-gd missing imagejpeg() in standard apt-get install

i trying run script has dependencies on gd library, script throwing errors due gd library missing imagejpeg()

apparently standard apt-get install php5-gd not contain many functions available gd library - imagejpeg()

know can find valid file install gd library functions... imagejpeg() ?

running ubuntu version 8.10 - can't seem find active links missing modules, or valid instructions installing functions via command line.

open synpathic under sections find php programming search gd
or if cannot find php programming section
search php-gd
8.10 old version upgrade system

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
