Thread: Wireless here then gone problem....

my problem seems different of else i've seen. have acer aspire 7741z series laptop atheros wireless card setup. installed 11.10 windows 7 main os (just see if ubuntu work go around) , had wireless internet immediately. figured going until restarted service packet updates... not internet. after situation if reset computer have 1 in 10 chance on startup have internet... other 9/10 times attempt connect router 5-6 times before giving up... issue resolved? love layout of ubuntu , continue using it.

ps... have checked see if rfkill blocking , not.

which driver loaded (ath5k or ath9k). deactivate hardware encryption of driver via:

change ath5k ath9k if driver.
