Why does my photoshop say it needs to close whenever I open any file using bridge?

i use photoshop daily , have 50000 images on computer need bridge able view them , select ones want.

 

for past few days have been getting "photoshop has encountered error , needs close" every time try open file through bridge, quite same error message on bridge few seconds later.

 

i have tried reinstalling photoshop, tried deleting presets have added on years , trying straight reinstall, still same,

 

i cleared appdata both photoshop , bridge, no change problem, ideas causing this.

 

i have saved full error reports couple of shutdowns if help

they indeed having exact system , version info. regarding problem might need sift through image folders , delete bridge cahcde files or evcen xmp stuff. did intorduced flakey data , whenever bridge trying open it, crashes...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
