Copy 5 layers (or a layer set) to another opened document

hi

 

i have 2 opened documents. first has 5 layers. need these 5 layers second opened document. , problem. 5 layers creates composition. if copy 1 one, position related others layers change.

 

in script tried linking layers before copying. no sucess. tried create layerset, did not find method copy layer set second document :/

 

any idea how copy 5 layers other document???

are using copy/paste or layer.duplicate? duplicate maintain layer data including position. if documents same size , res, dupped layer in same place in original document.

 

if copy/paste need layer bounds in origianl document use layer.translate move them in correct position after paste.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
