Flash 11 will not install on my Mac

i have mac running lion 10.7.5 using safari version 6.0.4

everytime download flash verion 11 seems install ok (no error messages) when go view video (bbc nes example) told not have latest version , install it. have unistalled , re -installed more times can count, tried use terminal commands detailed in other posts no success. can assist here becoming frustrating probelm non of call fixes provided working.

looks i've managed fix it! remembered i'd downloaded latest update safari. i've gone preferences security tab , ticked box "allow other plug ins" has got video working again - may other @ fix too.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
