Font issue between PC and Mac

hey all,

 

i have been searching answer awhile , can't find concrete.

 

without getting complex have textfield embedded font lined in center of symbol. if .fla published pc, it's centered on pc , if .fla published mac it's centered on mac.

 

on pc when running .swf published mac font appears high. on mac when running .swf published pc font appears low. haven't been able figure out root cause or solution yet doesn't happen on every single textfield once happens seems impossible fix.

 

we made new .fla , setup textfields exact same way , embedded font , worked perfectly. no matter our real .fla nothing fixes it.

 

anyone run before?

 

i have been aware of bug since cs5 old workaround of publishing on mac no longer seems work in cs6.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
