My PSE Incorrectly Labels uploaded Photos

i had primary hard drive ("c") replaced.   several years have uploaded files storage ("d") drive pse.  since primary drive replacement, pse uploads files storage drive d, labels them being in storage drive g, , tells me files missing.  using windows explorer, have verified uploaded files indeed on storage drive d.  have tried reconnecting uploaded photos, system tells me cannot, because file in catalog.   tried upgrading pse 9 11, thinking correct problem.  did not.   used photoshop lightroom not have problem, pse more convenient applications , rather use this.  available?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
