Pre 11 - Lost saved work

while working on project, adding media , effects etc, rendering , saving file on regular basis, , previewing - of sudden dreaded message appears; "premiere elements has stopped working".  fine, close program expecting lose work but....... upon reopening, @ least 2 hrs of previous work gone in none of saved! ... started.  

 

anyone know reason this, or if work can retrieved?  in past, have found copies of project in same folder time nothing....

 

fresh disk clean , defrag, followed reinstall of pre 11,

 

- win 7 64bit

- amd 2.2 tri core  - 6g ram

750g hdd  scratch = 1t storage hdd

i did find "autosaved" files latest version 1.5 hrs old,... @ least able recover lot of work.....  still, why not keep last save..?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
