hi, everyone...

have looked on answer complete lack of sound recognition coming external mic on oneiric. have experimented w/ suggestions here alsa mixer, having played w/ adjustments in sound recorder , sound applet.

mic plugged of audigy 2 zs card (otherwise working beautifully in 11.10). should add mic works w/o issue in windows xp (same machine).

appreciate v. insights, have given effort (but not expert handle this, @ all).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
