Thread: 11.10 randomly goes into powersave; can't wake

i'm running clean install of 11.10 , having problems computer randomly going powersave , being unable wake. mouse click, keyboard, nothing wakes it. have hard reboot x.

weired thing have computer set never shut off monitor , never hibernate. still see message going powersave mode , black screen cannot revived.

i've had 4 times today.

can help?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
